Kabikwabik Lake
10 minutes flight time
Kabi is a nearby lake of 3 x 4 miles and one of our best lakes for big walleyes. With a waterfall dumping into it, a lazy river going out, islands with rocky points, drop-offs, weed beds, sunken islands and depths up to 60 feet, Kabi is a real jewel of a lake for fishing and beauty alike.
The cabin was rebuilt all new in 2009 and has 3 bedrooms and 10 beds (8 lower, 2 upper). Fully equipped kitchen and walkway going from the dock to the cabin. There are 5 - 14 foot boats equipped with 2-stroke 15 hp Mercury motors - all gas included. Boats have padded swivel boat seats with back rests.
Cabin amenities include:
- 2 propane refrigerators
- 4 burner gas stove with oven
- propane BBQ grill
- screened porch
- electric lighting
- hot and cold water
- indoor shower
- Large cooler to hold block ice (provided by camp at no charge)
- satellite phone communication with base camp
- fish cleaning house (screened in)
- propane fish cooker and shore lunch pan for outside fish frying.
To ensure quality fishing for years to come, all walleyes over 18" must be released & all northern pike over 27 1/2" must be released.
